ADHD and Executive Function Coaching

for University Students

Challenges with ADHD and/or executive function can become more apparent as young adults navigate adulthood and independent living.

During the transition from highschool to university, students can sometimes get overwhelmed with all that is required from them. Often juggling busy schedules of assignments, lectures and part-time jobs.

Without the structure and accountability that highschool and living at home may have provided, some students may not attend lectures or hand in assignments on time.

Coaching can help students with support to develop their executive function skills (time management, organisation, planning, working memory, impulse control) to get back on track.

Together we can work on:

  • Universtity work

  • Procrastination

  • Prioritisation

  • Overwhelm

  • Managing distractions

  • Life skills and daily responsibilities

  • Balancing university work and working

  • Self care

What can I expect?

I meet students weekly or fortnightly.  Coaching sessions are up to 50 minutes and are either held in my office on the North Shore, Auckland or via zoom.
